I've been in tech for more than 30 years and I’ve owned and worked with a lot of PCs and racks of servers over the years. I’ll admit I was a little hesitant ordering since it isn’t one of the big-name brands I was familiar with. That concern disappeared pretty quickly once I got it out of the box.
In the recent decade, I've almost exclusively used (or built myself) high-end gaming systems as my daily driver for both work and play and let me tell you, the entire ordering experience was excellent. Ordering was quick, smooth and easy. Tracking information was accurate, everything stayed on schedule without any unexpected delays, and the computer arrived exactly when expected. It was also packed extremely well, which is always a concern when you're having a large gaming PC with a glass case and heavy components shipped to your door. Everything arrived safe, secure and in perfect condition.
The combination of the Intel Core Ultra 7, RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5 memory and the NVMe storage makes this system ridiculously responsive. Windows boots almost instantly, applications open without hesitation, and it's running 5 displays full of applications and games without stuttering - not even once.
Gaming performance has been exactly what I hoped for from an RTX 5070 system. At 1440p, you can crank the settings up and simply enjoy the game instead of spending half your evening tweaking graphics settings trying to squeeze out a few more frames. There's also enough horsepower here that 4K gaming is absolutely realistic, particularly with DLSS.
What surprised me most, though, is the overall presentation of the machine. It looks fantastic. The glass, RGB fans and especially the built-in display make it look considerably more expensive and interesting than the typical prebuilt gaming PC. The little display seemed like something I'd consider a gimmick, but after having it sitting on the desk, I actually really like it. It gives the computer some personality without making the whole thing look ridiculous.
Cooling and airflow also seem well thought out. This doesn't feel like one of those prebuilts where somebody selected an expensive CPU and GPU and then cut every possible corner everywhere else. It feels solid, looks great, stays cool, and so far has handled everything I've thrown at it.
If you're hesitant because you haven't heard much about KOTIN, I understand—I was too. But between the easy ordering process, on-time shipping, excellent packaging, great build quality and outstanding performance, my experience has been excellent.
Wishing I could give these guys 10 stars.
