KOTIN PC Limited Warranty

KOTIN PC products may be covered by a limited warranty. Warranty terms, warranty period, and service eligibility may vary by product and will be listed on the applicable product page, order confirmation, warranty documentation, or other information provided with the product.

This limited warranty is intended to cover eligible hardware-related issues under normal use during the applicable warranty period. Please review the product-specific warranty information before requesting service.

Warranty Period

The warranty period varies by product. The applicable warranty period begins on the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated in the product documentation or order information.

Proof of purchase may be required to verify warranty eligibility.

Who Is Covered

This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of a KOTIN PC product purchased from KOTIN or an authorized sales channel, unless otherwise stated in the applicable product documentation.

Warranty coverage is not transferable unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing by KOTIN.

What May Be Covered

The limited warranty may cover eligible defects in materials, workmanship, manufacturing, hardware assembly, or hardware components that occur under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

Depending on the issue and product eligibility, KOTIN may provide troubleshooting support, replacement parts, repair service, replacement, or another appropriate remedy at KOTIN’s discretion and subject to inspection.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover damage, defects, or issues caused by:

- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Accidents, drops, impact damage, or physical damage
- Liquid damage, moisture exposure, corrosion, fire, or environmental damage
- Power surges, unstable power supply, improper electrical connection, or use with unsuitable power equipment
- Unauthorized modification, improper installation, improper repair, or damage caused during service not authorized by KOTIN
- Overclocking, BIOS flashing, firmware modification, or system tuning outside recommended specifications
- Software conflicts, operating system changes, malware, viruses, corrupted files, or third-party software issues
- User-installed hardware, incompatible components, or damage caused by upgrades or modifications
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, discoloration, or other appearance-related issues that do not affect product functionality
- Loss of data, files, software, applications, settings, or stored information
- Consumable items, accessories, packaging, or external peripherals unless expressly included in the applicable warranty

Opening the system, upgrading components, or using third-party parts does not automatically void warranty coverage. However, damage caused by improper installation, unauthorized modification, incompatible components, or improper service may not be covered.

Third-Party Components

Some components inside a KOTIN PC may be manufactured by third-party component brands. Certain components may also be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Where applicable, customers may be directed to the component manufacturer for warranty support, driver support, software updates, or specialized service.

Warranty Service

To request warranty support, please contact KOTIN support and provide the following information:

- Order number
- Product model
- Serial number, if available
- Proof of purchase, if requested
- Description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the issue, if applicable
- Any troubleshooting steps already completed

KOTIN may request additional information to diagnose the issue and confirm warranty eligibility. Customers should not send any product or part to KOTIN unless instructed to do so by KOTIN support.

Repair, Replacement, and Parts Service

If a product or component is determined to be eligible for warranty service, KOTIN may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the affected component, provide a replacement product, provide replacement parts, or offer another appropriate remedy.

Replacement products or parts may be new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent, unless prohibited by applicable law.

Any replaced part or product may become the property of KOTIN, unless otherwise stated by KOTIN support.

Data Backup and Software

Customers are responsible for backing up all data before sending a product for diagnosis, repair, replacement, or service.

Warranty service may require system reset, drive replacement, operating system reinstallation, hardware replacement, or other procedures that may result in data loss. KOTIN is not responsible for loss of data, files, software, applications, settings, passwords, licenses, or other stored information.

Software issues, operating system problems, driver conflicts, malware, viruses, user-installed applications, and data recovery are not covered under this limited warranty unless expressly stated otherwise.

Shipping

Shipping responsibility for warranty service may vary depending on the product, issue, warranty eligibility, and service arrangement.

KOTIN support will confirm shipping instructions before any product or part is returned for service. Customers are responsible for properly packaging any product or part being shipped. Damage caused by improper packaging may not be covered.

Do not ship any product, component, or accessory to KOTIN without prior authorization from KOTIN support.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and order cancellations are handled according to KOTIN’s Return and Refund Policy.

Warranty service is separate from return and refund eligibility. Please review the applicable return policy for return windows, conditions, and requirements.

Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KOTIN is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of use, downtime, or costs related to substitute equipment or services.

Some states do not allow limitations on certain warranties or damages, so some limitations may not apply to you.

Your Legal Rights

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.

Nothing in this limited warranty is intended to limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
