KOTIN Desktop PC Safety and Care Guide

This guide explains basic safety and care tips to help keep your KOTIN desktop PC in good condition.

Place your PC in a safe location
Place your desktop PC on a stable, flat surface. Avoid placing it on carpet, unstable furniture, or anywhere the system could tip, fall, or block airflow.

Keep airflow clear
Make sure the air vents are not blocked. Leave enough space around the front, back, top, and sides of the PC so air can move freely.

Poor airflow may cause higher temperatures, louder fan noise, or reduced performance.

Keep the PC away from liquids
Do not place drinks, water bottles, plants, or other liquids near the PC. Liquid damage may cause serious system failure and may not be covered under warranty.

Avoid heat, dust, and moisture
Keep the PC away from direct sunlight, heaters, humid areas, and dusty environments when possible.

Dust buildup can affect cooling performance. If needed, clean the outside of the PC with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the computer.

Use a proper power source
Connect the PC to a reliable power outlet or surge protector. Avoid overloaded power strips or unstable power sources.

Before moving, cleaning, or connecting internal components, turn off the PC and unplug the power cable.

Handle cables carefully
Do not force cables into ports. Make sure cables are connected to the correct port and inserted in the correct direction.

If a cable does not fit, check the port type before trying again.

Do not attempt unauthorized repairs
Do not open, modify, repair, or replace internal parts unless instructed by KOTIN support or qualified service personnel. Unauthorized repairs or modifications may affect warranty eligibility.

Moving or shipping your PC
Before moving or shipping your PC, turn it off, unplug all cables, and secure the system carefully. If shipping the PC, use the original packaging if available.
