This guide explains how to connect a gaming monitor to your KOTIN PC.
Where should I connect my gaming monitor?
If your PC has a dedicated graphics card, connect the monitor to the graphics card ports. These ports are usually located lower on the back of the PC.
Which cable should I use?
For high refresh rates, DisplayPort or HDMI may be required depending on your monitor and graphics card. Check your monitor manual for supported refresh rates and cable requirements.
Why is my monitor only showing 60Hz?
Your monitor may be set to 60Hz by default. You may need to change the refresh rate in Windows display settings.
How do I change refresh rate in Windows?
Go to:
Settings > System > Display > Advanced display
Then choose the correct refresh rate if available.
Why is there no display?
Check that the monitor is powered on, the correct input source is selected, and the cable is connected to the graphics card if your PC has one.
